Course Description: This educational program will explore the importance of proper medical device reprocessing training. Medical device reprocessing plays a critical role in infection prevention and patient safety. Among the most similar devices to reprocess are flexible endoscopes, which contain internal channels that can harbor contaminants if not properly cleaned, disinfected, or sterilized.
Accreditation: (CBSPD, HSPA) – 1 contact hour (Post Course Self-study guide will be assigned after the live session)

- Please utilize Google Chrome to access Olympus Continuum.
- Click “Sign Up for Olympus Continuum” on the login page to create a profile. A pop-up form will open.
- Create an individual profile prior to applying for an educational event.
- It’s recommended to use a personal email when creating your user profile.
- Fill in the required information, including acceptance of the terms & conditions.
- Please ensure accuracy when entering your email address.
- Click “Sign Up” to continue.
- You will receive a confirmation message on the screen and the platform will send you an email.
- Press the link in the email to confirm your identity.
- Insert the username & password received in the registration email into the login form, click “Sign In”.
- Please complete your profile and save changes. This step will complete your portal account set up.
You may now access the portal by choosing “Home” in the upper left-hand corner.
*Please Note: Applications are processed on a first come first served basis; availability is limited for certain courses, and a waiting list is created once the course reaches capacity. Your enrollment in an educational program is confirmed when you receive an approval email from the program manager.
