President's Message

Dear Southern California SGNA Nurses and Associates,

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season. As we step into a new year, it brings new beginnings and exciting opportunities for our SCSGNA community.

We are currently updating our website to better serve our members. As part of this effort, we are adding more gastroenterology-related educational events and conferences to provide additional opportunities for earning CEUs. Members will receive email notifications as these events are added.

To promote continuing education and provide more learning opportunities, we welcome you to email us if you know of any educational events you would like to share. We are happy to post these events on our website so more members can benefit. In addition to posting events on our website, you may also receive emails from SCSGNA highlighting upcoming educational opportunities.

I encourage everyone to reach out to us if you are aware of any upcoming seminars or conferences—whether in-person or virtual—that would benefit our members. We truly appreciate you sharing this information so we can continue to expand learning opportunities for our community.

You can also take it a step further by becoming a volunteer with SCSGNA. Volunteering can be very rewarding—you will meet wonderful people, build leadership skills, and help steer the future of our profession.

In addition, we are actively working on plans for our upcoming annual conference and look forward to sharing more details with you soon.
